DALLAS, Texas — ATM manufacturer Nautilus, which is
owned by the $6 billion Hyosung Corp., reported strong
North American sales in 2007 with 14,433 units
sold, according to a news release.
“This strong performance is a reflection of increased
demand for our products,” said Carlos Siewczynski, vice
president of retail self-service for Nautilus. “The momentum
is being carried into this year as Nautilus Hyosung is
already exceeding sales estimates for January."
Nautilus Hyosung set up U.S. operations in Coppell, Texas,
(just outside of Dallas, Texas) in March of last year in an
effort to sell to ISOs and financial institutions and
aggressively grow its presence in North America.
“Expansion into the market is well underway and we have
gained market share due in large part to high customer
demand for our products,” Siewczynski said.
